Yup. I can officially cross "drive a Lamborghini LM002" off of my bucket list, and it was life changing. I felt like a small child who was given $20 at a penny candy store, and the experience was probably just as loud, AND I'M STILL RIDING A HIGH BETTER THAN THAT OF PURE COLOMBIAN COCAI- er, SUGAR!

That!- is a manly bumper. NOT!
Is there a Pepboys near here? We can fix your limp bumper syndrome.

I honestly can't say I know what that means, but maybe.

Pretty much like a Lamborghini Countach with a sloppier shifter, harder to see out of, and also if a Countach were a tank. It was magical.

I HAD THE MOST NORMAL BONER

One of 380-something I think. I hadn't even seen one in person until today.

I'm working at my family's restoration shop this summer and this came in somewhat recently, but was hidden away. Today, I was tasked with taking it out of storage, getting gas, and "making sure it felt okay" (aka joyriding).

So, uh...tell us more.

Im not sure why that specific part of the bumper is chrome. The black section between them and the bit above that is also a substantial bumper... It would probably look better all black or all chrome but both is kind of odd and makes the chrome parts of the bumper look dinky.

Alright.
The best way to describe driving an LM002 is by saying it feels like you're driving a Countach (which I am fortunate enough to know from experience), because essentially you are. The clutch has three positions: up, attempting to push your knee up into your torso, and down. The gas pedal was a little tricky, and liked to stick. It would skip the first bit of play, and go straight to half throttle, which was fine since the clutch was essentially and on-off switch. The turning radius was horrendous, and the steering wheel was weirdly small, and the gear shift was heavy, sloppy, and caused momentary panic until gaining some amount of experience with it. It was impossible to see out of, even though the seating position is comfortably high, because a) the mirrors are hilariously tiny, b) the back window is great for seeing the giant spare tire and the sky, but not much else, and c) there are not one, but TWO massive hood bulges that block anything forward and to the right of you. But, while all of this sounds sort of terrible, it was actually better than it was in my many wet dreams. Its exactly what you would expect from a Lamborghini of this era only much, much larger. Oh, and its just as loud. I can't explain the noise with words. The noise of a Countach is great and all, but its expected. Theres no reason a truck should make the noises the LM002 does, and upon first start up I couldn't help but letting go a joyful laugh.
The interior is spartan, and consists of 4 bucket seats with about two feet of who-knows-what in between them. The center console is full of off road-y type buttons and winch controls, even though this LM002 has no winch, and the materials feel very un-Lamborghini. Sure, theres some wood grain, dark leather, and a great Nardi wheel, but theres a lot of hard materials you would find in a military spec Hummer... which this basically is, so it works. Oh, and there are two jump seats in the truck bed for your AK47 wielding body guards.
The acceleration was shocking. At low RPMs, the "Rambo Lambo" doesn't do much, but after winding it out a bit you are reminded why a small golden bull is staring you down from the center of your leather-wrapped Nardi wheel. I didn't get out of third gear because I was in an area that is often full of police officers but even then, I definitely could've earned myself a nice ticket.
I could go on forever. Maybe I'll do a write-up about it in the next few days!

Yes! Do that! Not too often you see a road test review of a God damn LM002.

Okay. I'll see if I can get some more pictures. Unfortunately I think the only driving I'll be doing is out of the shop to park it in the morning, and back in at the end of the day.
